2022: foms.world studio and store in Chippendale. Maybe once there pillars extended in an old office. thinking about how important truth is when talking about history of materials and space. Twin pillars, one FC sheet and one mahogany made to display flowers. if water spills or rotten flowers fall an aluminium sheet beneath the plinths on wall and floor protects the existing surfaces. A new aluminium pillar is made to hold cards whilst avoiding any impact on the existing structural column behind. aluminium skirting is cut away to make room for the floor protecting sheet: this aluminium skirting is copied and placed infront of the structure of the card-holder pillar. thanks to ella williams for help with material studies.
